Fiscal Cliff Response

            A) Fiscal Cliff is the term used to refer to a combination of spending cuts and tax increases since the Government budget deficit has declined sharply what was expected. President Obama’s Democratic plan to avoid this is to extend Bush tax cuts for 98% of taxpayers. While Republicans proposed to extend the Bush tax cuts in their entirety. In conclusion, Democrats plan was passed by the Congress and ended up get put into action.

B) First of all, I looked up “Fiscal Cliff” on Wikipedia just to inform myself in a broad way of what the topic was about but I did not use it as a source. Instead, I looked up articles about the 2012 Fiscal Cliff on Google. The way I searched is by typing into the search bar very specific words that would take me to what I’m really looking for. I narrowed the search into sections; for example, I searched “Republican position on 2012 Fiscal Cliff” and then I would do the same except of republican, it would be democratic. I also used specific words such as “US government site about” or “article on” for specific types of sources I wanted to use.

C) The URL’s of the sources that I used are:
1) www.boston.com
2) www.articles.washingtonpost.com
3) www.huffingtonpost.com
